Question guide

Can I cancel AI subscriptions anytime?

How to read cancel, downgrade, and annual-prepay terms before you lock a stack.

Short answer: many tools let you cancel or downgrade, but annual prepay is not the same as month-to-month. Read the official billing page for the exact plan. Do not assume a forum post is current.

What to verify on the official page

  1. Is the advertised monthly price billed monthly, or is it an annual equivalent paid upfront?
  2. Does canceling stop future charges or only stop auto-renew at period end?
  3. Do unused credits expire at cancel?
  4. Can you export your files after you leave?

Examples already recorded on this site

  • Landlord Studio’s official FAQ says you can cancel or downgrade anytime and keep access to your data.
  • Grantable’s official docs say canceling moves the account to Free and keeps workspaces.
  • Instrumentl’s official Discover rate is paid upfront annually, with a higher month-to-month alternative.
  • Riverside’s official FAQ says annual billing saves up to 20% versus monthly.

Practical rule

Stay on monthly until the tool owns a weekly job. Annual discounts are real only if you would have paid all twelve months. Use the pricing watch and each tool’s official billing URL before you prepay.
