  • Bolt's security page says code and prompts are never used to train foundation models, while the Privacy Policy permits aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified AI content to improve AI performance and describes plan-dependent training controls. The exact boundary between 'foundation-model training' and other model/service improvement is not defined.
  • The public Privacy Policy does not enumerate which plans receive training opt-out controls.
  • The commercial-use statement does not provide a non-infringement warranty for generated code.

Official documentation says Bolt offers Standard and Max agents; Standard is available on Free, while Max requires a paid plan. Bolt's commercial-use documentation states that all code created with Bolt and StackBlitz is the user's code and may be used for any legal purpose, including commercial purposes. StackBlitz's Terms state that it does not claim ownership of data, content, or other material submitted, published, or transmitted through the service. The Privacy Policy says Bolt may use AI Inputs and Outputs to operate, maintain, and improve the service, including AI performance, reliability, and safety, using aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified data. The Privacy Policy says training/improvement opt-out controls may depend on account type or plan, while third-party AI providers process Inputs to provide services to Bolt under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

  • The explicit Output Content ownership and no-training language is in the Commercial Agreement. The general consumer Terms do not publish an equally explicit assignment of rights in AI-generated Output.
  • The pricing page labels free and included Agent allowances qualitatively rather than publishing exact numeric Agent-credit limits.
  • Third-party AI services are excluded from the Commercial Agreement's definition of Replit AI Features and can be governed by separate provider terms.

Official documentation describes Replit Agent as turning plain-language requests into apps, designs, slides, and other artifacts. The Commercial Agreement states that commercial customers retain all rights in Input Content and own Output Content. Under the Commercial Agreement, Replit will not use Customer Content to develop or improve products, train machine-learning models, or create derivative works except as expressly permitted; customer-requested tuning may be performed solely for that customer's use during the agreement term. The consumer Terms state that users retain their rights in content they submit and grant Replit the operational rights needed to provide the service. Replit's Privacy Policy was last updated August 3, 2026 and covers collection of usage, interaction, project, command, payment, and communication data, along with applicable access, deletion, correction, appeal, and sale/sharing opt-out rights.
