  • The ownership clause does not guarantee that generated output is unique, copyrightable, or free of third-party rights.
  • Third-party providers may retain metadata for billing, safety, and compliance even where Input and Output retention is prohibited.
  • The current AI Terms still mention legacy Pro and Plus workspaces in the retention section even though the current public pricing lineup is Free, Team, Business, and Enterprise Scale.

Airtable's August 10, 2026 billing documentation says AI credits are pooled at workspace or organization level. Credits fund features such as Field Agents, AI automations, deep-research questions, feedback categorization, document analysis, and image generation; consumption varies by input, selected model, and output. The Airtable AI Terms, last updated July 23, 2026, classify Input and Output as Customer Data and state that customers retain all ownership rights in both. Airtable states that neither it nor its third-party AI providers will use Input, Output, or other Customer Data to train generative-AI models. For Business and Enterprise Scale, providers do not log Input or Output for human review or retain it, subject to stated exceptions. For Free, Team, Pro, and Plus workspaces, providers may retain Input and Output for up to 30 days for safety and compliance moderation.
